It’s completely baffling to spending hours a day explaining to people that their family’s future depends almost entirely on the election in November and then to hear leftists waffle on voting.
Also, “I’ll vote for him, but don’t expect me to like knock doors” is not much better.
“Hey don’t shame me,” or “We don’t want to be told what to do by the establishment” is literally the left wing version of “It’s not a mask it’s a muzzle.”
If you understand the stakes you do things that are diffcult, uncomfortable, boring, or inconvenient.
If your media consumption has led you to a place where you honestly see the two candidates as being roughly the same with only fringe differences, I don’t know what else to say besides you’re wrong.
It is honestly so fucking enraging I can’t even explain it.
One last thing—I know there are people who will say that an immigration lawyer is compromised because they have a vested interest in the outcome of the election, but to be clear: Trump has been very good for “business.”
Towards the tail end of the Obama administration I got a call from a friend who practices removal defense. His business was drying up and he was worried about maybe needing to diversify. Not anymore!
