Yesterday as a result of an incompetent government and lost all my uni offers. My plans were to study pharmacy so I worked very hard all year round to make sure I had the grades necessary. In all my subjects I was achieving great grades throughout this year my routine consisted of waking up @ 5:30 to get to school early to revise, then staying till 6pm to revise. After I left school I would go to the library till the closing time and end up coming home at 11pm.

Both of these grades are not a true reflection of my hard work and dedication. I’m happy I kept all my test results from this year as it is evidence of how I have been performing this whole year and is available upon request.

My grades are being appealed by my headteacher and I would be looking to receive the updated results from next week. For those who are in the same position as me don’t lose hope something must change as we surely can’t be in a country where they are happy to fail 40% of students

Although the government’s decisions have ruined my plans for my future I can only say Alhamdullilah as I am still alive and in good health.
