#Breaking Democratic lawmaker Ted Hui stopped a car which has been following him for two days in Western district but the driver tried to run him over. The car bares a brand new vehicle licence. The police has arrived but are passively investigating the case.

20:33 The driver and the passenger refuse to get off the car, the cops don’t ask them to get off the car either. Those two in the car who carry professional video gears claimed they are journalist while questioned by Hui, however a CEDD sign is seen at the back of the car.

More and more cops arrive and they basically do nothing. The cops try to treat it as a typical TA but no ID card checking or no breathalysing. They are cordoning off the bystanders though.

20:48 Ted Hui said the cops won’t search the car and disclose the identity of the people in the car.

20:55 This is insane. The police release the suspicious car without any investigation. The car leaves under the cops’ escort. While Ted Hui tries to stop the car a cop violently subdued him.
