A friend of mine likened my dating life to the thirty secs or so trailers Netflix tv series.
A thread:

Netflix shows you thirty seconds of a series as a way to entice you and so you start to watch the show. As you get to episode two, three and so forth, you realise that the 30secs or so clip was taking from say episode 10.

Likewise, according to my friend, I show a thirty second preview of how amazing I am and the guy is now enticed and wants more. So he engages, only to realise that the 30secs he saw, was part of ep10 and he has a very long way to go..

Yet most times, most guys aren’t patient so they give up by the 2nd/3rd episode.
