Touya is overprotective.

Who can blame him? He's the eldest brother of four siblings and the eldest son of a single mother. Someone has to be.

And Keigo may act arrogant and confident with his tittering fangirls and rowdy classmates, but really, Keigo is soft.
He carries teachers' paperwork to the faculty room even if he hasn't gotten his books from his locker and his classroom is in the opposite direction in another building. He walks schoolmates to the bus stop whenthey forget their umbrellas, tipping his own red one over their heads
, letting the rain soak into his usually immaculate school uniform. He tutors Twice in the library and laughs at his jokes even if they don't make sense and gives directions to lost first-year underclassmen, who promptly attached themselves to his hip,
yet denies he's a "mentor"-type.

Keigo is soft. Keigo is exactly the type of people-pleasing jackass who stretches and stretches and stretches himself, to keep his scholarship, to please his guardians, to help out, until he /snaps./

So Touya has to look out for him.
Make sure the little bird doesn't break a wing in the process of flying higher than anyone could ever hope to reach.

So, if stealing Keigo's notebooks so he doesn't stay up too late cramming, or poking at his wings until he yells and forgets about student council work to chase
Touya out into a convenience store for a snack, or messing Keigo's bed so much Keigo has to fly in and fix it and maybe take a nap after, is being overprotective.

Well, someone has to be.
