If I could give one bit of advice to any artist, it would be to have your press shots and recent releases uploaded to a dropbox or google drive folder than you have a link to on your phone.

I've had people take a month to send me a picture and 3 already finished tracks before.

Having assets available is literally such a time saver for the people you are working with.

A folder with press shots, recent tracks, logos (if you have them) and even an artist bio will make you instantaneously more appealing to work with.

I guarantee it.

It takes about 3 minutes to set up, but nobody ever seems to think to do it. Then whenever you finish a track you just upload the file.

If DJ's, radio folk, platform owners and general industry people can get those assets off you instantly, your reputation grows instantly.

A dropbox free account can be accessed from your phone, your desktop, anywhere.

All of you, go and make a free account if you haven't got one, upload your best press pictures and 3 most recent tracks into two folders inside a folder called "YOUR NAME - Press Assets'.

You can then literally copy the link to your asset folder and store it in your notes on your phone.

That way, WHENEVER someone comes to you with an invite onto a shower or a podcast or a platform, you can just send that link straight away.

Boom, easy, job done.
