What is a mentor?

Do I really need a mentor?

How to ask someone to be your mentor ?

It& #39;s time to speak facts. https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="🗣️" title="Silhouette eines sprechenden Kopfes" aria-label="Emoji: Silhouette eines sprechenden Kopfes">

What is that so called "Mentor" https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="❓" title="Rotes Fragezeichen-Symbol" aria-label="Emoji: Rotes Fragezeichen-Symbol">

A mentor is nothing else than a source of wisdom or a "teacher" if you

want to call it that way. He also is your daily supporter in achieving your

goals and someone who observes your behavior.

He gives advices or guides you to success.
If mentoring is done well, the impact of those teachings might be huge.

It can offer you life-changing benefits. You& #39;re asking how?

A mentor knows your mindset - Of course if you let him!

Opening up might get scary. I mean, revealing your mindset is a sort of

intimacy?
Yes it is.

Once you understand the path of mentorship, those things become

irrelevant. You both have the same goals - TO SUCCEED! https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="💪" title="Angespannter Bizeps" aria-label="Emoji: Angespannter Bizeps">

A true mentor will never use your mental intimacy against you. Trust me.
Do you need a mentor https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="❓" title="Rotes Fragezeichen-Symbol" aria-label="Emoji: Rotes Fragezeichen-Symbol">

On your way you& #39;ll step over big stones and dark places. You might get stuck on your way. You might drift off easily. Trust me I know it best.

Life isn& #39;t only about sunshine and Mojitos.

This is when a mentor reaches you his helping hands. https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="👐" title="Open hands" aria-label="Emoji: Open hands">
If you can take those obstacles by yourself, my respect.

I couldn& #39;t. And there are people out there who can& #39;t take it espacially if

they are new to "The Game"

Knowing "somebody has my back" makes you go all in because in case

of trouble, they will be there. Guiding me. https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="💡" title="Elektrische Glühbirne" aria-label="Emoji: Elektrische Glühbirne">

Send them a mail. In best case you already know your mentor.

Give yourself 1 hour in which you can discuss your goals. Never rush things. Small talk maybe?

He is going to ask plenty of questions. Try your best to answer them all.
Confirm your willingness to do the necessary work including his follow-throughs. Gain trust.

Respect the individuals time. He could also be somewhere else eating his papaya rather than teaching you mental growth.

CLEARLY describe the guidance you want https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="🗣️" title="Silhouette eines sprechenden Kopfes" aria-label="Emoji: Silhouette eines sprechenden Kopfes">

Ask your individual for his guidance. You don& #39;t ask a girl on the first

date to be your girlfriend right? Get to know each other. This is the

way he, bust MOST IMPORTANTLY YOU can get a closer view.

Set up scheduled meetings https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="💼" title="Aktenkoffer" aria-label="Emoji: Aktenkoffer">

Of course you can follow-up but don& #39;t over hound him. Keep him

up to date with your business by sending him "informative messages"

Show interest but if he doesn& #39;t catch up with you, move forward and

seek for your next individual.
It might be a lot to keep up with. The process of working with a

mentor is such a serious thing and therefor it should be treated like a

serious relationship.

I almost forgot the most important thing: https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="🥳" title="Partying face" aria-label="Emoji: Partying face">

NEVER TRY TO FOOL YOUR MENTOR. Remember those guys are mindset gurus.
If you want deeper knowledge don& #39;t hesitate to drop some questions in the DMs or here!
