Among non-wicketkeepers, only Stephen Fleming (111), Andrew Strauss (100), Misbah-ul-Haq (75), Peter May (66), Ajinkya Rahane (65), and Graeme Wood (59) are the only ones to have played more Tests without bowling.

In 1986-87, he was caught by Bill Athey off Mike Gatting.

He started walking, but Tony Crafter had already signalled a no-ball.

Meanwhile, Athey threw the ball to Jack Richards, who removed the bails. Upon consultation, the umpires ruled him out – wrongly, as per Law 38(2).

But it does not end there. Rameez walked off again, this time in the 1992 World Cup final, when he hit a no-ball from Chris Lewis to Graeme Hick at backward point.

Hick threw and missed the stumps.

In 1987 he became the first to be given out obstructing the field in ODIs (on 99, off the last ball of the match).

Inzamam-ul-Haq was out obstructing the field against India in 2005-06.
