Here’s the thing I’m noodling on right now:

An all-mail national election felt *imperative* at the beginning of the pandemic, before we knew how well masks work.

Now we know in-person voting with a mask is basically safe.

Do that, if you can.

Most states have early voting options. Use those if you can.

If you order a mail ballot & can return it to a drop box or your county election office, do that.

This is US democracy’s last stand & we’ll probably need to end run our ballots around anything under federal control.

Trump is using every tool at his disposal to sabotage & steal the election. If he succeeds, it’ll be the end of the American republic.

But he doesn’t run state elections & he doesn’t count the votes.

We all need to vote safely in-person or deliver our mail ballots directly.
