A thing about me as a GM player. I have zero interest or investment in a game's story going a *certain way*

It's not what I'm there for. I am however *exceptionally curious* about what direction the game goes in.
I may have a sense of how the world will act or react based on player input, but without the players acting, the world is an amorphous cloud of potentiality.

This allows me to react, adapt, & respond to the other players, work with & be inspired their ideas.
This also means my style of prep is very loosey goosey. I write very few notes about what *will* or even *may* happen during a session. I may have a few notes about what has happened, & how various aspects of the world feel about these events.
I have zero fear that nothing will happen during the game or we'll get lost or have nothing to do. Players generate content by interacting with each other, the rules, & NPC. I just make sure I play (& write) games that gives me the tools to play along with them.
Anyway you too can play like this, just be sure to chat about it with your players if you're trying this style of play for the first time to get their buy in & ask for their co-operation.

It feels real good folks.
