So on August 13 at about 8PM CET @FrankResearcher posts a "looks like Curve is ready to launch, here is the contract address". Everyone gets excited, but @charlie_eth circumvents the rumours and denies. @lawmaster deletes his RT. I ask Curve team on Telegram to confirm...
And this is where the fun starts: I ping @Daryllautk to mark it scam. Right after, Ben and Angel from @CurveFinance team jump in - https://t.me/lobsters_chat/81191.

Apparently, the anonymous deployer specified 0x0000...10b57e6da0 as the admin wallet. And that reads like... LobsterDAO a running joke in the chat.
This explains why Ben was so suspicious!

It gets even better. The deployer is 0xc4ad. The memes overflow and everyone is hardcore LOLing in the chat.

What a beautiful way to launch! I mean... I didn't do it, the Curve team says they did not, @bantg was asleep... So who is the 0xc4ad? Everybody and Nobody. The contracts are there, the code is there, and admin key is out the door.

I am not writing a "this is why they did this" comment because everyone is expected to read between the lines. Points like "failed launch" are also a LOL to look at. This was beautiful, this was open. Big brain launch.

Also, we tried to spread news as much as possible tagging people around, so that everybody would be prepared and there would not be information asymmetry. Thanks to those who aided in this! A lot of DeFi figures witnessed it and easily put 1+1 together to see that it's going live
Now it's time to farm, build dashboards, build a stronger $CRV community and take good lessons from $YFI.
PS: farming is just a model - but the internet value was with those protocols since day 0. If you compare them to farming no-value coins, I feel sad for you.

It's 6AM. Me and @bantg didn't sleep - checking the contracts, trying to figure out mining and the governance... but the UI is now coming up and being refined by the team.
