This is the greatest critique of a sitcom (which happens to be Friends) that has ever been produced. No other comment needs to be made re: “why was this so popular it’s not funny waaaaah”.

Just to be absolutely clear, my confusion is about straight white ppl suddenly deciding 90s sitcoms are terrible bc they don’t find them funny. It’s like...yes. If you had been born 20 years prior you would’ve chuckled at these shows. That was (and still is) their point.
