Update time!

I called a family meeting. Walker explained why he didn’t feel he should have to apologize. Dash said he didn’t want his fake apology, but that he was wrong for talking to him like that. Walker said Dash was wrong first. https://twitter.com/kwestsavali/status/1293722081297936384
Dash said maybe he could have done him the solid, but he’s tired of him talking to him any old kind of way.
They decided together that Walker’s initial request may have been valid, but that his words when he didn’t get his way were uncalled for and unloving. Dash also explained that he wasn’t doing anything for him unless he learned to speak to him respectfully.
We had a convo about restorative justice. Dash told Walker that he had to help me by putting away all the groceries in the appropriate places by himself the next time—which is what Dash usually does.
Walker looked shocked that that was it. I said, “Your brother is showing you grace.” He told him thank you, which WIN😭😭😭
We sat around the table and talked for another 30 minutes or so. I measured them to see how tall they’ve gotten during quarantine.

Then...”Mom, where’s my PlayStation?”

He got it back.

Fin.
