Constellation may be gone, but it lives on in spirit through Artemis.

Here's a list of a few interesting constellation vestiges in Artemis! Because I find it super interesting:
The obvious first thing is Orion, being the same capsule from Constellation! while she may be a bit different from what was envisioned in the early 2000's she's still a very capable capsule ready to take humans back to the moon!
But did you know that the reason it can enter LLO but not leave it today is because of the Altair lander? YUP! The Altair was supposed to carry it to LLO where it would then exit on its own!

Altair may be gone, but this weird capability remains as a reminder of what almost was!
Now lets talk rockets!

Many of you may be expecting me to mention Ares V and SLS but they actually have no connection to each other.

However, the launch tower that SLS launches from was originally the launch tower that was supposed to launch the ares 1 rocket!
And as such Ares 1 and SLS are nearly the exact same height! (14 feet difference in fact!) this allowed them to keep the tower they had already built and not have to build a new one from scratch!
These are just a a few of the more interesting connections I could think of!

Its kinda fun to see all the little things constellation still affects today even though its a long canceled program!
