This is a really weird story that doesn’t acknowledge that Obama changed the definition of “showerhead” in 2010. https://www.bloomberg.com/amp/news/articles/2020-08-12/trump-to-relax-rules-for-showers-after-complaining-about-flow-kdrlkqzh">https://www.bloomberg.com/amp/news/...
...and as far as I can tell, the AP never mentioned it when Obama redefined "showerhead" in order to outlaw some shower fixtures. Yet it& #39;s a big deal when Trump undoes it. It& #39;s the standard asymmetry in coverage of regulation.. https://apnews.com/083ef5555ef82c015e2f37f1822c0d78">https://apnews.com/083ef5555...
...it& #39;s always normal and expected when regulations go up--even if they& #39;re going up without statutory authority--and it& #39;s always radical when regulations go down.
I mean you could& #39;ve written & #39;rich people who get to have multiple showerheads used to get more water than you do, and now Trump wants to bring that back& #39;
But instead they write "LOL, redefining showerhead!"
"Undoing a 1992 law signed by a Republican!"
and "how petty! showers!"
