Thoughts based on peripheral feedback I hear even after 24 years & my present day response :

I just could never not eat Gluten. : I could never tolerate the joint pain, lethargy & mental fog again that gluten causes me

How could life be pleasurable without sugar. : By not ingesting inflammatory poisons like sugar, my energy levels are great, I enjoy mental clarity & no longer have mood swings.

Why do I need to avoid carbohydrates?. : I don't know that you do. However, if your are retaining

fat, have inflammatory issues, fell bloated most of the time and your energy levels suck... There's a good chance that your carb intake has lead to an over compensation in the production of Insulin & it is working against you in so many ways.

I am in my mid to late 40's now and I can't lose weight even starving myself. : Your Hormonal landscape has changed now and favores storage over energy release. This can be be improved and move things back towards center but how much you eat has little bearing on this at this
