Steer clear from the mindset that “If this athlete’s not training with me, they’ll never reach their full potential.”
It’s a terribly flawed and selfless mindset that fails to see the see the bigger picture.
Training programs don’t work simply because they’re amazing programs. They work because the athlete decides to work hard and recover at a high rate.

I’ve seen athletes have progress after conpleting off-season programs that most well-read coaches would deem to be brutal.
I firmly believe athlete also has to thrive in the environment in order to maximize their progress. Your gym’s environment likely won’t be a perfect fit for everyone.
You can’t train everyone. Just those that are in front of you. Focus on them, not the ones you wish you had!
