i’m so frustrated by doctors saying “theres no point in getting diagnosed with xyz bc theres no treatment.” i just... diagnosis matters for SO many things beyond fucking curing it.
1. informing and receiving good care for symptom management!! no cure does not equal no treatment!

2. so. many. systems. require it. including YOURS, mr doctor man! and insurance. accommodations. employment. disability benefits.
3. it is emotionally valuable to understand what the fuck is happening to you!!

the list goes on. feel free to add to it. i’m just so mad today about me and a dear friend both getting told this recently about EDS. @fibrofuckboy i love u bitch. fuck doctors... i hate this shit
