It is home to what is known as the ‘Eighth Wonder of the World,’ The Karakoram Highway, it is one of the highest paves pathways on the world
The Tharpakar Desert is said to be the only fertile desert found in the world, located in Sindh, Pakistan.
Pakistan has the largest irrigation system in the world, The Indus basin irrigation system which irrigates 45 million acres of farm land that produces wheat, rice, fruits, vegetables, sugarcane, maize and cotton.
The country is the biggest producer of hand sewn footballs, producing an estimated 55% of footballs worldwide.
The Siddi - the forgotten ethnic group of Pakistan & India. Of African descent, they are mariginalised from local communities. They speak west African languages integrated with local dialects.
Also located in Gilgit-Balististan is the worldest longest glacial system outside of the polar region, The Biafo Glacier.
Some of the oldest civilisations In the world once lived in Pakistan. The Indus Valley civilisation, one of the most prosperous civilisations famous for their methods of farming and building infrastructure.
Makli Hill in Thatta Pakistan is one of the largest funeral sites in the world. Around 120,000 people are thought to be buried here mainly kings, queens and scholars from the 14th to the 18th century.
The worlds highest placed ATM is located along the Karakoram Highway in Nothern Pakistan. The machine is powered by solar energy.
The Hussaini hanging bridge is the most dangerous bridge in the world. It is placed over the Borit Lake in Hunza Valley, Pakistan.
