It's time for DC to put away the trinity for a little while and actually focus on other characters.

One thing Marvel does better is how many franchises/characters they are pushing forward at the same time. Even if we hate some of them, it's still great to see other characters++
getting focus once in a while. I see more d and c Listers from Marvel getting minis or regular appearances than B Listers from DC. It's truly saddening.
This is why I preferred the new 52 era. Say what you want about the story, it's subjective anyway, but the push for other characters was great. Nobodies got minis and maxis. And they were amazing. Resurrection Man, for example.

Does anyone remember him? Probably not.
However, DC gave him a solo which ran for a year. And had a pretty darn good story with good ending for the character.
I get the sales argument and I have heard it all before, but I just wish they would focus on something that isn't Batman or the trinity. At least for two or three years.
I dislike the model DC seems to be using.

Batman (and the trinity sometimes) at at the top of his product life cycle so they want to keep him there, but they pay barely any attention to the others which are always on decline.
Credits where it's due; I am glad they are giving good amount of attention to flash and are serious about trying to push him forward in terms of quality. Sales has been up and down, but glad they didn't give up on it yet.
