my tweet was not about alex morse. i will not apologize for it.

that chose to bar him from their campus org events/spaces. there were other students involved. it sucks immensely that there were opportunistic people who saw this as a way to attack morse and his campaign. regardless, there were still students that were made uncomfortable. 2/

these truths can exist simultaneously.

i will not back down from the stance that morse should have been more cognizant and recognized potential areas of power imbalance. but it sucks a lot that people saw this as a way to weaponize survivorship. 3/

not that morse—or really anyone—needs my personal apology, but i’m sorry for choosing to believe in who i thought were honest people speaking out about how alex morse made them uncomfortable.
