Had never heard of Dom Dom burger so found the closest one was near to Oizumigakuen station. I don’t eat burgers too often but decided to cycle there yesterday afternoon. Only 12km away & a chance to try out my new cycling gloves!
There were already rumblings of thunder when I left home at about 3:45pm but the weather app said it’d be ok for a few hours!! Ha! A few spots of rain was no bother but as I got near Hikarigaoka park the heavens opened up & it hammered it down.
Thankfully I could take refuge under a sizeable bus shelter....for nearly an hour!!
I filmed the conditions
Im all for a bit of adventure but this was supposed to be a quick ride to the burger place & back!
The sun eventually came back out but it continued to rain hard. Finally at about 5pm it stopped & I decided I might as well continue on for the remaining 5km or so
I wasn’t expecting Dom Dom (Tokyo’s/Japan’s oldest burger chain I think!) to be part of a supermarket!
I ordered the Mexican chili burger („450)
It was freshly made & took about 10 mins
It was brought to my table!
It lower quite good & tasted really nice đŸ‡ČđŸ‡œ
Was it really worth „450 & a 2.5 hour (40 mins actual cycling time each way) return journey in such torrid conditions though?!! đŸ€·â€â™‚ïž
Apologies for wasting the time of whoever bothered to read all this thread!! Basically a man cycled to get a burger & got caught in a downpour!!
