For any students getting their results at the moment, please read this:
I know that a lot of you are disappointed with your results due to COVID, that you've not got into the University you want etc. But I want you to understand that it ISN'T the end of the world.

I finished my A levels with, quite frankly, shocking results. Completely down to my own issues, no one to blame but myself. Still, I didn't set my heart on a fancy University and got onto the course I wanted, which was done at my local college, not a big exciting campus.

I did my course, got my degree, but only managed a 2:2. Again, only myself to blame for not doing better, but I was pleased it wasn't a 3rd in the end. Since then, I have gone on to work in my dream job, making video games and have my name on around 15 titles.

I have also since left that industry in order to secure myself a better salary. Now I work in software and earn £40k a year and have more prospects for earning and development still.
The point I'm trying to make is that you aren't beholden to your exam results.

Whether they're A levels, GCSEs or a Degree. You make your own success. Admittedly a little luck can help, but I've never once been turned down for a job because of my poor results. Keep moving forward, this is just the start of your journey and you've got so much to give.
