That game was crazy so I have a few things to say on it

Firstly what a cracker of a game full of tension and passion both teams scraping to get a place in the semifinals so a very entertaining game for the neutral

I don’t think enough praise can be given to everyone at Leipzig but a few players who certainly put their name out there (even more out) has to be Angeleno how city let him go when arguably their biggest weekness is that left back spot I don’t know.........

upamecano, klosterman and halstenberg what stone wall defending from the three you couldn’t say a bad thing about them apart from the penalty but in my opinion it would have been a goal so he was right to stick a leg in the keeper also deserves big praise

All midfielders played unbelievable football doing what they where asked to, to perfection there tight accurate short passes where pleasing to the eye and they all feel so well together

Big shoutout to Nkunku who seemed to play every position on the pitch at some stage in the game the was everywhere he’s like the french James Milner what a player and another shoutout to kampl who was pulling the strings and his dribbling was up there worh messi tonight

The attack wasn’t on the same par as the rest of the positions but managed to get the job done non the less @RBLeipzig_EN manager is a tactical genius he set up in a unheard of 3-3-3-1 and beat athletico at their own game by beating the press but putting on pressure them selfs
