I tweet a lot about finances. Here is a tweet that won’t make you rich, but might be of very high benefit:

• walk 10,000 steps a day

• exercise everyday

• read something outside of your interest or career field

• live by sea/ocean at some stage in your life

Continued...
• don’t live to work (Western capitalism) but instead work to live (European la dolce vita)

• travel

• worth saying it again: travel and see the world, try new foods, meeting new people or experience different cultures, religions & traditions (you’ll grow)
• learn to be a contrarian, at least sometimes (don’t follow or be part of group think)

• spend money and time on experiences & relationships, because 10 years from now you’ll still remember & talk about them (not your fancy watch)
• if your a hedge fund manager or real estate investor, do yourself a favour and get some friends which don’t do what you do (you’ll grow & learn about the world)

• golden rule: pick the right partner in all fields of life (spouse, friends, business partner, etc)
• didn’t I mention travel? It’s incredibly important and removes narrow mindedness that so much of this world suffers from (but due to Covid-19 might have to wait awhile)

• don’t be afraid to quit & try something new one day (even if you’re very successful) because YOLO
• focus on family, especially your parents who miss you way too much since you finished uni (spend more time with them)

• there about 100 million things more important than money, but they only become more important when you have a lot of money & aren’t stressing about bills
• make sure you have plan B regardless of where you live, what you do, who you know (2nd passport, foreign bank accounts, assets outside of your country)

• most Americans will probably think the point above is nonesese... you see what I meant about traveling more? 😂
• learn a new langague, either Mandarin, French or Spanish will compliment your English very well

• if you’re young and you don’t know what you’re doing, where you’re going and have that fire in your belly — pack your bags & move to Asia, where the future is waiting for you
• help people out & give back if you have the financial means

(example: not to show off but I helped 9 different families during covid-19 because I could and wanted to, because they didn’t help & I didn’t)
• practice gratitude and smile... it opens all locked doors (not just business doors either)

• spend less time on social media and more time on nature (I should really follow a bit of my own advice here, but I swim in the sea at least twice a day)
• don’t be afraid to disagree with people and hold your opinion even if they have a fancy PhD, 10 million on the bank account or a super fast car with license plates “crypto”

• get some vitamin D because it’s super healthy, especially my Asian friends who love their white skin
Plenty more, but it’s time for sleep...
