The government have been waging rhetorical war on the teaching profession for a decade lmao in what world are they ever thought of as "hard-working and well meaning"

I am sure they feel really valued

I've been out the profession for four years now. I took a 14grand pay cut and lived off of beans to do it. If that sounds drastic just think how miserable teaching must have been

The system in this country is held up by the good will and unpaid labour of teachers. It's not going to last
