Numbers from the new Pew poll:

Trump vs Biden

White evangelical Protestants: 83/16
White non-evangelical Protestants: 59/41
Black Protestants: 5/92

I want to see the religion breakout for this question but I don& #39;t think Pew has published it.

Interesting to compare Pew& #39;s white evangelical horserace number (83!) and PRRI& #39;s latest favorability number (56!). Different surveys may account for some of the gap but also a reminder that favorability ≠ vote intent.

Lots of white evangelical enthusiasm for Trump, but also still plenty of votes from the "he& #39;s not a very nice guy but I like his policies" folks.

(btw I find this crowd more frustrating/tragic than the true believers)
