Fam it wasn't even an "they're both shit what different will it make" election. We actually had a choice. There was an option to elect someone who genuinely wanted to improve everyone's lives and someone else who would clearly ruin everything and this country voted for the latter

Like when America elected Trump we were all like wtf and he was the worst out of 2 bad options and only won due to their rigged electoral system. We actually had a good options and this country overwhelmingly said no we want everything to get worse, we want poverty and misery

Today is reminding me how awful I felt after the election, how aware I was of how shit everything was going to get and how scared I was of the future. Didn't think it would get so shit so fast.
