Facebook has been a death knell for local journalism for years and to discriminate intentionally against a new model that seeks to amplify the work of local journalists across the US is incredibly dispiriting.

Who remains in Facebook's News tab? Far right sites that intentionally spread misinfo like Breitbart and The Daily Caller. That's not only dispiriting, it's incredibly dangerous.
