As a woman who grew up in East London, who had her predicted grades lowered by her teachers, this situation is so damn triggering. One thing I will say is to all the kids that have been wronged, absolutely no one can stop your destiny. You have to strategise and know your options

1. Take a year out to actually sit your exams

2. Decide not to go to university and do an apprenticeship

3. Accept the grades and the university and smash your exams + ensure you apply for every internship under the sun

Don’t let this period define you because there will be bigger hurdles to jump. It’s just about being intentional with your future
