I remember finding in an hotel room night- table drawer in Shanxi a copy of the Liji 禮記。It was obviously an attempt to mimick the North American (? Sorry if mistaken, I'm French and it is not common for us...) practice of putting a bible in an hotel room. https://twitter.com/AntiokhosE/status/1293921725051068417
But the Liji 禮記 seemed a strange choice for an equivalent of the bible to provide to the spiritually distressed traveller. It is sn old and difficult and not so oftenly read text.. But what should the Chinese equivalent be ?
What should the proper chinese classic candidate be ?
