I have looked at this screencap so many times without watching the scene that I forgot how low and soft his voice is when he says this.... what was the intent in directing this.......

The shower scene is good for many reasons, but it also reiterates Garma& #39;s pattern - even when he doubts Char (which he does for just a second here) he immediately actively seeks reassurance of friendship and will take it way too easily. You Are My Friend. The constant mantra.
