I will never not be mad at the obsession with making live-action versions of animated as a way to improve them

Animation truly is better most of the time.. The only cases where live-action adaptations are perfectly valid is cases like wanting to make something feel more real

by using really good special effects, preferably as little cg as possible or if you make on stage musicals like the Shrek or Spongebob ones, or if you make a series like Once Upon a Time where the whole premise is Fairytale creatures living like normal people in out world

And funny thing is in the rare occasions when they had characters that were exactly like the Disney movie (Frozen, for example) those were the most boring, because it was just a cosplayer, effectively, it was way better when the characters where reimagined, not copied
