7. purging doesn’t rid of calories at all. try to avoid it
8. whole wheat carbs have lots of fiber. white bread is hard for your body to digest
9. increase! fiber! in! your! diettttt! it is SO helpful.
10. foods that are lowcal and improve digestion: apples, yams, figs, nuts, seeds, bananas, oats
11. one glass of ice water as soon as you wake up improved your metabolism
12. matcha/green tea is very good for you! if a coffee shop offers it it’s a good option. helps digestion/metabolism
13. use chopsticks when u eat, you’ll eat slower/swallow less air and be less likely to bloat
14. oat milk is very good in coffee/cereals/anything if you’re not a fan of almond milk. it’s around 80 cals per cup
15. dance is a really good workout. i personally hate cardio so just put your favorite songs on and in a private place dance really intensely for like an hour (or try learning kpop dances)
16. being cold causes your body to hold onto more water weight, not burn calories. you’ll burn more calories while in the heat and sweaty
17. shiritaki noodles are pretty common in the ed community, but fcking slap. a pkg is like $1 at wegmans, and it is more than enough noodles for a serving and is only like 20 cals. they taste like ramen noodles to me. i highly suggest
18. oui’d actually speeds up metabolism. so if u get cravings to eat you’ll probably be okay because i’ve noticed i burn like 1,000 extra calories
19. coffee improves metabolism!! caffeine in general
20. don’t use artificial sweeteners. they cause weight gain.
21. fast food restaurants and food brands can lie about 20% of their calories
22. chia seeds are a great source of iron and fiber
23. apples are the best fking thing on this planet they are lowcal, filling, and high in fiber and nutrients i swear just eat 3 apples a day
