Something I have heard is that some Christians felt like since Hilary was such a sure bet to win, they felt better voting third party or even for Trump was not a huge deal. I wonder how many people were in this position?

keep having these great conversations! and pay attention to the difference between those talking about individual convictions and those who have been changed by seeing how truly awful Republican policies have been for their neighbors.
I think third party voters or those who feel a lot of anguish over their non-perfect options could do well to center the common good (defined scripturally, which means prioritizing the needs of the most marginalized) over personal feeling/individuals rights in November.
