unpopular opinion: american hustle life was terrible and i won’t ever understand how bighit approved of it

1. THE KIDNAPPING PRANK???? ok HOW was that in any way funny at all? that was horrible and bts were treated like shit, lets be honest. that was terrible and i cant believe they would do something like that let alone air it onto narional tv???

HOW DID THAT TEACH THEM ANYTHING ABOUT HIPHOP??? all that did was probably cause them to be extremely scared and frightened, imagine being approached by ppl speaking a foreign language and then being driven to a second location??? that wasn’t fucking funny at all

2. remember when yoongi got hella mad at that guy for being the rudest piece of shit ever and jin had to calm him down? i can barely remember but why the fuck was he so rude for???? and the way coolio was rude to tae too i didn’t like that

3. bts were just thrown about and treated badly. i don’t care if anyone disagrees with me because i know for a fact that bts didn’t deserve that. there were some decent ppl but gosh just because they were less known back then doesn’t mean they’re “lesser” in worth. fuck the show

4. stop hyping up tony. him and jimin had their cute moments on the show for sure, but like don’t forget how he apparently extorted money from armys??? and he’s said some problematic shit. it’s been a while since i saw it but srsly it’s just so weird.

the show did help bts grow their understanding of hiphop and black culture. i just feel as if the way they went about it could’ve been altered. the kidnapping prank for example was not necessary at all and didn’t help with teaching them jackshit.

i’d say don’t form ur own opinion based entirely on mine, especially if u haven’t watched it. idk if i would recommend watching it tho just bc some ppl could have their anxiety induced from scenes like the prank. i just think bh was mean for that show and it’s hard to forget :/
