The generational trauma of my maternal lineage is child neglect/abandonment and emotional unavailability. Of my paternal line is alcohol abuse, physical abuse and others. To resolve part of that karma is my duty as a healer

My gift does not serve me alone. It serves those who seek my counsel. It serves those with whom I share blood. It serves my children, both dlozi and blood.

It is with this cognizance
of being a mere conduit that I ask for wisdom and strength to carry this work

It is the work of Nkgono 'Malepena, along with all my grandmothers and grandfathers.

It's heavy work, but watching lineages heal is all part of the grander scheme that makes it bearable.
