Hey! This is @SexWorkHive. We’ll be taking over Twigs’ account for the next two hours to talk about sex work, the fight for DECRIMINALISATION and how sex workers are affected by Covid. Feel free to drop questions!
SWARM is the Sex Worker’s Advocacy and Resistance movement, a UK collective of sex workers who campaign for the rights and safety of everyone who sells sexual services. We organise events, fundraise, campaign for rights & create networks of support
We work alongside other sex worker-led groups in the UK and Ireland: @ProsColl, @SWAIIreland, @ScotPep, @ukdecrimnow, @ethicalstripper. All of these groups (and every current sex worker-led group on the planet) are calling for the full decriminalision of sex work.
Sex worker rights are part of the wider struggle for justice. Many sex workers also experience racism, misogyny, homophobia and transphobia. Many are trying to escape poverty. Many are migrants.
We ally ourselves with the unionisation movement, specifically that of precarious workers.

In the UK, @unitedswers (with @UVWunion) has had monumental wins for sex workers. Join! https://twitter.com/unitedswers/status/1291330460564496394?s=20">https://twitter.com/unitedswe...
