Whenever we have a new history lesson our prof makes it a point to contextualize the situation of the event being discussed

I feel like when watching shows we also have to do that.Yes we didn’t have Korrasami kiss, it also wasn’t planned from the very start, it started messy etc

But at that time we have to remember that there were minimal(/non-existent) animated wlw ships.

Korrasami just being canon was already a big deal in animated shows. They didn’t even kiss yes but at that point no wlw animated ship did? (As least that I know of)

Not only that but Nickelodeon literally limited the creators on what can and should happen.

Just stating this right now bc maybe some people would be underwhelmed once they watch LoK on Netflix bc they were looking forward for more korrasami to happen but be disappointed..

But watch this video from 5 years ago. The rep for lgbtq+ was so rare that this ending elicited these reactions.

Lastly, if you were underwhelmed I get that! I can refer you to the comics wherein we see korrasami be gfs openly. The artworks for the fandom is also amazing the fanfics are here for you god knows I’m still here for the fanfics hehe so yeah that’s all

I know this has been said before on the tl but the kids are really blessed with the animated shows with amazing rep right now and I’m so glad we get to witness that

but yeah I’m really partial to LoK bc it was what I had as a teen
