Thinking about... potty training

Being just about aware of when you’re wet... sometimes even being able to tell your caretaker you gotta go with a few seconds notice... and maybe you’ll make it a few times, and you’ll get praised! But if you don’t, no big deal, that’s what you’re in diapers for!

Running up to your caretaker while they’re cooking like “I gotta goooooo”, but they have their hands full so all they can say is “I’m a little bit busy sweetie, you can use your diaper” >w<

Getting all dressed up to go out in the cold, and right just before going out the door... “uh oh...”

And they sigh, but undress and change you anyway for the day out... :3

Waking up in the middle of the night cause you gotta pee! That never happened before!

But you’re in your sleeper in your crib and everyone’s asleep, and your diaper is there and you’re just so sleepy... so it’s okay, right?

Having your diaper taken off and being sat down on the potty, just to try and see if you don’t have to go~ maybe you do, maybe you end up soggy 5 minutes after being put back in diapers, but it’s never a big deal! You’re a toddler, nobody expects you to make it anyway

“Gotta go, gotta go, gotta—

...nevermind”

Telling your caretaker you already peed, but they’re still proud of you for knowing! Awareness is such a big step towards being a big kid!!

Getting mild praise when you’re still dry when you get your diaper checked... and if not? That’s okay, nobody expected you to make it, you’ll just get changed and get to try again later ^-^

Tugging on your caretaker’s shirt, saying you gotta go!

They take you to the potty, take off your diaper, and sit you down on it... and wait

And wait...

“Oh I guess I don’t gotta go”

False alarm...

Getting potty trained alongside a similarly aged sibling and encouraging eachother!

Having an older sibling that’s already potty trained you look up to!!

Having a younger sibling that looks up to you for being almost a big kid!!!

Having an accident but being too shy to tell your caretaker, so your sibling says it for you, while hiding behind them >w<

Getting your diaper checked and... you’re dry! Your caretaker pats you on the head, and grabs your hand: “time to try going on the potty!”
