Does anyone out there actually write their own op-eds?

(Just got a note asking for a recommendation for a copywriter who had a proven track record of getting articles published with a list of high-profile outlets.)

Maybe I'm naive but I do think it's worth it to actually write it yourself. Writing is an exercise in clarity. Helps structure thoughts. It's hard but worth it.

Last thing: If you don’t write your own, please give credit to the actual author. The ghost writer would be acknowledged in a book. So why not an article? It might be your idea, but it’s their creativity and intellect.
