I work in healthcare & have seen the detriment that Obamacare was to our country. It eliminated the competition between health insurance companies so premiums skyrocketed, 1/x

coverage & benefits dwindled, and citizens were forced to go to clinics instead of private doctors - access to care & quality of care fell substantially. If you couldn’t afford to pay for Obamacare, you were unfairly penalized through taxation.

In March I started extensively 2/x

researching the virus. I read empirical studies, peer reviewed articles, and I reviewed masks and filtration. I tabulated data from many health departments, prison systems, and elder care facilities. According to my research, the data just didn’t support the shutdowns. Based 3/x

on the transmission of the virus, the effect it has on different demographics, & the filtration capabilities and limitations of masks, I took it upon myself to make my own risk/reward assessment.

From my research, I fully understood that the fatality rate was highly inflated 4/x

due to only testing the most severe cases. After reviewing the comprehensive testing that was done among prison populations and comparing those results to that of many different state health departments, I estimated the fatality rate to be much closer to .2-.4% 5/x

(two to four times worse than that of the flu).

Masks have been a point of contention for many people. I’ve been wearing surgical masks every day for 13 years & I can tell you with confidence that the filtration capacity of surgical and fabric masks is not able to reasonably 6/x

prevent the aerosol transmission of SARS-CoV-2. They may be useful when actively displaying symptoms (mainly coughing) as they may reduce the number of droplets (spit) on surfaces. That being said, asymptomatic cases produce a much lower viral load compared to symptomatic 7/x

cases.Wash your hands, stay home if you’re sick, & take care of the elderly/immunocompromised.

Another area I have studied is treatment - specifically the medication that the President has talked about so often - I’ll call it the RED PILL. The RED PILL is an ACE-2 inhibitor. 8/x

Angiotensin-converting enzyme 2 (ACE2) is a membrane receptor expressed on the surface of airway epithelial cells. They are also present in the heart, kidneys, & intestines which may account for the variety of COVID symptoms. ACE2 binds with the Spike protein of coronaviruses 9/x

SARS-CoV and HCoV-NL63. The RED PILL prevents the virons from attaching to the cell receptors and also acts as an anticoagulant to prevent or dissolve blood clots in the lungs, heart, and kidneys that form due to increased cytokines released during the inflammatory response. 10/x

The ACE2 receptor is expressed differently in children than in adults. As you age, the receptors more readily accept the virus into the cells. This may be why so few children are contracting the virus. Children that do become sick are either older (over 18) or they have 11/11

diabetes or cancer. Because of the cancer and diabetes treatments there are alterations in ACE2 and TMPRSSII expression, cytokine signaling, hypercoagulability, and immune response that put the body in severe disequilibrium. As far as underlying conditions are concerned, the 12/x

combination of morbid obesity, diabetes, and hypertension appear to be the most common comorbidities. The RED PILL is inexpensive (around $37 for 100 tablets) therefore I believe it is being suppressed by lobbyists from pharmaceutical companies because there is a much larger 13/x

monetary gain in extensive treatment and vaccinations.

President Trump seeks to reduce drug and medical costs to a point that is affordable for all citizens. We can provide for ourselves and make our own choices. He is giving power back to the people.
