Black men, your feelings are valid & valued
For starters, ion tweet for likes. I tweet cause I genuinely fuck with ppl & I love interacting. Initially this tweet came from a conversation I had with my brother. Who openly told me that I& #39;m the person he can talk to about anything....
He can openly express himself & not feel judged because sometimes he doesn& #39;t feel like he& #39;s being heard or he can& #39;t express himself @ all. Which is where my tweet originated from.
Fellas, Hear me out. I understand a lot of you guys feel like you cant be vulnerable, be heard, & still be respected. You can & deserve to be. Readin the comments made me see things from a wider perspective because a lot of black men feel like they& #39;re not being valued at all
The thing is everybody is not going to Value you and that& #39;s okay. But you have to be okay with that. You have to learn to appreciate the people who do value you. Dont categorize all of us.
Also, be vocal about your vulnerability. A lot of us that were born before the 90s were taught that men don& #39;t cry & if they do they are weak for showing emotion. Not the case. We all have a lot to unlearn so be patient with us women also because some of us have also been molded
to believe that our men have to be strong all the time. Understand that because You& #39;re vulnerable does not mean you& #39;re weak. Its a process, for everyone. So appreciate the one& #39;s that acknowledges the value in you! Stay lifted Kings, hold them down Queens.
