Quick Thread on why Juventus need to reinforce their Fullback positions this summer:

In a perfect world both Sandro and Cuadrado would need replacing however Cuadrado is much more of a liability than Sandro, and I will be focusing on him in this thread.
Cuadrado:

Cuadrado did surprise me with his defensive capabilities at the beginning of last season although this did not last the entire season.

I believe Cuadrado's drop off in defensive capability could be attributed to...
Andrea Barzagli leaving the club as coach. Barzagli worked closely with Cuadrado to enhance his defensive game. Unfortunately he was not able to keep up his output once Barzagli left.

I think this had to do with him concentrating on defending more and not attacking as much.
For every positive thing Cuadrado does offensively, there is 5 things he does wrong. The amount of times he avoids an easy pass or ignores a penetrating run infuriates me. If there was a key-passes not played stat Cuadrado would top it. I will not even mention his crossing.
A new RB such as Sergiño Dest would be a great addition and although he may not nail on a starting spot in the first 6 months, I am confident that he would be integrated into the starting XI by the latter stages of the champions league, when we would need him most.
In conclusion, it is great to see that the club has identified FB's as an issue. More creative fullbacks and in particular a
new RB will alleviate the stress on our midfield and assist them in creating chances, as well as improving our defensive solidity.
