I know 6 LTCs who postponed surgeries & nursed old wounds bc they didn& #39;t want to go to BCAP w/ profiles. All 6 were selected for command. I& #39;m one of them. This was a personal choice, but it speaks to a cultural problem w/ expectations for injured soldiers.

TO BE FAIR, I also know officers that did show up w/ injuries and profiles. My own decision was ill-informed. BCAP didn& #39;t seem to descriminate. But if I know of 6 officers who postponed surgeries to avoid profiles, how many others are out there? @TrainingFor600, any thoughts?
After the past 6 hours, I am well into the double-digits for LTCs who did this for BCAP, sir. @TradocDCG
