Blackpink is a South Korean girl group consisting of 4 members — ˗ˏˋ Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé and Lisa ˎˊ˗

The group is formed by YG entertainment.

During their trainee days:
they had to perform one solo,group and dance song, come up with the choreo, film weekly vocal, krumping and popping videos, choose outfits, groups, parts songs etc...

The girls of Blackpink had to go through the harsh training process of YGE for 4 - 6 years, practice from 12am - 12pm and sometimes even till 3am!

Jisoo loved dancing and singing in front of people since she was a kid. Her family would often praise her when she used to dance and sing in family gatherings. This built Jisoo's desire to perform in front of many people which led her to begin auditioning.

Jennie moved from Seoul to New Zealand when she was 10 years old, as a study-abroad student. She explained in an interview that she listened to a lot of K-Pop while she was in NZ and wanted to become an entertainer. As prepared to move to US to pursue more international-

Rosé's dad played a huge role in her debut. When he heard that YG is holding an audition in Australia he booked her a ticket to d city where d audition was being held. Before rosé auditioned music had always been a hobby for her but coming to SK she realized where she stands in-

Lisa was an avid dancer since she was young. She was in a dance crew when she lived in Thailand. Lisa said that she liked singing and dancing and wanted to become a performer so she auditioned at 2010 YGE auditions at Thailand and was d only girl to get selected among-

3999 participants. Lisa said she didn't speak a word in Korean when she arrived Korea. Frustrated of the language barrier, she worked hard to learn Korean and thankfully her members helped her improve.
