To be honest, If we've learned it, we were allowed to learn it

"Open Source" is a tricky thing. Are we really discovering something we shouldn't see or are we being given information at the rate they choose? The most effective way to control people is to control the information.
The alleyways of the interwebz are afforded to us. We go where we are allowed.

Have we given it too much trust in such a short time?
Look at the internet as a city. Are we allowed to roam free?
Say what we want on any given corner?

We spend more time online than m=we do on Main Street. Maybe that is what went wrong.
Did the internet let the PTB corral us in a nifty pen?

What happened? How is it we are so easily herded?
Don't kid yourself.
We are in a corner.

Look what technology has done. I am not sure we are anymore freer.
