These won& #39;t work for everybody but in case you& #39;re overwhelmed and need something to help, here you go https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="💖" title="Funkelndes Herz" aria-label="Emoji: Funkelndes Herz">
1. try to set up a routine for yourself, even if it& #39;s not at the times you& #39;d like. learn what works best for you and it& #39;s okay if you break it sometimes; everybody has off days and absent days, remember? I usually did all my school work from 6pm-3am with a backwards sleep cycle
2. Try your best to focus on assignments and find new, creative ways to do them so that you can stay on task. I usually color as I read articles or think about what to write or I use a fidget cube and try my best to refrain from losing attention.
I know especially for ADHD folks this can be hard, and that& #39;s okay. Find what works for you and I believe you can get through the year amazingly. https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="💖" title="Funkelndes Herz" aria-label="Emoji: Funkelndes Herz">
3. If you know your teachers emails, email them for any help or assistance you need. My teachers were p bored during office hours and usually loved zoom calls on anything I wanted to talk about. I sat in a zoom call and talked about my Minecraft build once after talking to my+
+teacher about my issues with mental health and focusing. (I was escaping through Minecraft because of the stress!)
4. Try to put in your own interests into your assignments.
Depending on the subject the may not be possible, but in English I related a lot of my papers to Greek mythology or mental illness and it really helped me stay on track because I was so invested in what I was talking ab
5. Give yourself breaks! It& #39;s okay to take breaks, or to take longer time getting through the work. I often did sensory activities during this time to keep myself grounded (I.e. hugging stuffed animals, fidgeting, listening to music)
6. Create a new browser
So ok this may not make sense but i use Google chrome and my bookmarks make me more likely to get distracted and click on them, scroll through social media or those bookmarks, etc.
I have another email and browser i use for school without those bkmks
And it helped a little bit to not make me procrastinate or get distracted doing something else
7. When viewing videos, I use headphones at a higher volume do no matter what I& #39;m looking at or distracted by, I& #39;m less likely to forget what i watched/listened to. I actually tend to pay attention to what& #39;s playing In my ears
