First I’ll assume by salt, the nutritionist here was referring to the sodium in sausages. That said, 1 raw sausage has between 650 and 700mg of sodium approximately. (I’ll share the specific ranges specific for beef and pork later)
The adequate intake (average amount of a nutrient you require in a day) for sodium is 1,500mg which is 2 times more than what’s in a single raw sausage. That’s why there’s some misinformation in that tweet.
But it’s good to remember that sausages aren’t the only source of sodium in your diet so this isn’t a licence to eat a whole bunch of them at a go or in a day lol.
