Every Day is a Battle (THREAD)

Here are 7 ways you can win every day

1) Get Up Early
2) Stay Active
3) Write Your Goals and...
4) Challenge Yourself
5) Create Lasting Relationships
6) Be Virtuous
7) Stay Healthy
Get up early – a warrior is up at sunrise and plotting to conquer the day. He must rise before his enemies

Stay active – a warrior is strong and hard to kill. No exceptions. Train to be stronger, faster and tougher. Your competition didn’t skip their workout today.
Write down your goals and your system to achieve these goals.

Writing goals is the first step. It fails if you don’t implement a daily system to achieve these goals. Habits are the steps to a higher level
Challenge yourself – it’s too easy to get caught in a rut of repetitive actions.

Push yourself. Go up in weights. Run farther. Write longer. Try a new hobby that you aren’t sure you can do.

You know you're capable of more but you let mindless distractions hold you back
Create lasting relationships – networking isn’t about collecting as many business cards as you can.

You need to be forging relationships. Call these people. Text them. Bounce ideas or questions off them once in awhile and always provide value.

Seeds only grow if you water them
Virtue – What’s the difference between a warrior and a mercenary?

A warrior fights for virtue. A mercenary fights for the highest bidder. Whatever you choose, at least know who you are.
Stay Healthy – a warrior is eating the best food, drinking water and exercising to keep in optimal shape.

What if you need to carry someone to safety? Run to rescue your son? If you’re not in fighting shape, you’re not ready to go to battle.

And sometimes the battle finds you
